PDF Converter

A PDF converter turns images, Word documents, plain text files, and ZIP archives into a downloadable multi-page PDF, entirely in the browser with nothing uploaded to a server. Conversion works offline once the page has loaded, and the source files never leave the device.

Accepted formats are PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, BMP, WebP, SVG, DOCX, TXT, and ZIP archives containing images. A ZIP archive is extracted automatically: every image file inside becomes a separate page in the output PDF, and non-image files inside the archive are skipped. A Word document (.docx) is unzipped in the browser and its text is extracted paragraph by paragraph; formatting is not preserved, and the plain text renders at 12-point size, wrapping across pages as needed. A plain text file (.txt) is rendered the same way, with automatic page breaks wherever content exceeds the page height.

Page size options are A4, Letter, Legal, A3, and A5, with A4 as the default; orientation is Portrait or Landscape depending on whether the content is taller or wider. Margin settings control the whitespace around page content: None removes all margins, Small applies 0.5 inches, Medium applies 1 inch, and Large applies 1.5 inches.

Image Fit governs how an image is placed inside a page: Fit to Page keeps the aspect ratio within the content area, Fill Page stretches the image to cover the entire area, and Original Size centers the image at its native dimensions regardless of page size. Image Quality runs from 10 to 100 and controls JPEG compression during conversion, with a default of 85 balancing clarity against file size.

Merging images and documents into a single PDF is a routine task across many fields. Below are scenarios showing how different file types and settings combine to produce the right output.

• Photography: Combine a batch of edited JPEG photos into a single portfolio PDF sized at A3 landscape with no margins, giving each image a full-bleed presentation suitable for client review or print submission.
• Education: Scan handwritten notes as PNG files, then convert them into a compact PDF on A4 portrait with medium margins. Students and teachers can archive or share the resulting file without needing desktop publishing software.
• Legal and Compliance: Gather signed contract pages photographed on a phone, upload the JPG files, and produce a Letter-sized PDF with small margins. The ordered multi-page output creates a single reference document for filing or email attachment.
• Real Estate: Export property listing photos as a ZIP archive and convert them into a landscape PDF brochure. Agents can hand the PDF to prospective buyers during open-house events without relying on an internet connection.
• Software Development: Convert architecture diagrams saved as SVG files into a PDF for inclusion in technical documentation. Original Size fit mode preserves exact dimensions so that measurements and annotations remain readable.
