Documentation

Turn images, Word documents, plain text files, and ZIP archives into downloadable PDF files without uploading anything to a server. All conversion runs in the browser, keeping files private and accessible offline once the page loads.

  • Click Upload Files to queue one or more source files. Accepted formats include PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, BMP, WebP, SVG, DOCX, TXT, and ZIP archives containing images.
  • Each queued file appears in the file list below the input. Remove unwanted files by clicking their Remove buttons before conversion.
  • Select a Page Size from the dropdown. Options include A4, Letter, Legal, A3, and A5. The default is A4.
  • Choose Portrait or Landscape orientation depending on whether the content is taller or wider.
  • Set the Margin to control whitespace around page content. None removes all margins, Small applies 0.5 inches, Medium applies 1 inch, and Large applies 1.5 inches.
  • Open Settings for additional options. Image Fit controls how images are placed: Fit to Page maintains aspect ratio within the content area, Fill Page covers the entire area, and Original Size centers the image at native dimensions.
  • Adjust Image Quality between 10 and 100 to control JPEG compression. The default of 85 balances clarity and file size.
  • Click Convert to PDF to begin processing. A spinner indicates progress while files are read and written into the PDF. The browser then prompts a download.
  • Click Reset to clear all queued files, restore defaults, and remove saved preferences.
  • ZIP archives are extracted automatically. All image files inside appear as separate pages in the output PDF, and non-image files are skipped.
  • Word documents (.docx) are unzipped in the browser and their text content is extracted paragraph by paragraph. Formatting is not preserved; plain text is rendered at 12-point size and wraps across pages as needed.
  • Plain text files (.txt) are rendered the same way, with automatic page breaks when content exceeds the page height.

Merging images and documents into a single PDF is a routine task across many fields. Below are scenarios showing how different file types and settings combine to produce the right output.

  • Photography: Combine a batch of edited JPEG photos into a single portfolio PDF sized at A3 landscape with no margins, giving each image a full-bleed presentation suitable for client review or print submission.
  • Education: Scan handwritten notes as PNG files, then convert them into a compact PDF on A4 portrait with medium margins. Students and teachers can archive or share the resulting file without needing desktop publishing software.
  • Legal and Compliance: Gather signed contract pages photographed on a phone, upload the JPG files, and produce a Letter-sized PDF with small margins. The ordered multi-page output creates a single reference document for filing or email attachment.
  • Real Estate: Export property listing photos as a ZIP archive and convert them into a landscape PDF brochure. Agents can hand the PDF to prospective buyers during open-house events without relying on an internet connection.
  • Software Development: Convert architecture diagrams saved as SVG files into a PDF for inclusion in technical documentation. Original Size fit mode preserves exact dimensions so that measurements and annotations remain readable.
  • Writing and Publishing: Draft a manuscript in Word, export it as DOCX, and convert it to a plain-text PDF for proofreading on devices that do not have Word installed. Page size and margins match the intended print layout.
  • Art and Design: Upload high-resolution BMP or WebP renders and generate a PDF lookbook at maximum image quality. Fill Page mode stretches each piece to the page edges for a gallery-style presentation.
  • Administration: Collect receipts and expense screenshots, then convert them into a single PDF sorted by upload order. The resulting file attaches directly to reimbursement requests.
