Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Kaltask does not sell personal information, and has nothing it could sell: there are no accounts, no profiles, and the values you type into a calculator never leave your browser. California law requires this page anyway, so here is what "sharing" can mean on this site and how to stop it.
What is shared, and only if you opt in
Two Google services can load on this site, and both are off until you accept them in the consent banner. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, letting them set cookies can count as sharing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Google Analytics. Page views and general location (country), with IP anonymization on. Loads only after you choose "Accept all", and never when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
- Google AdSense. Display advertising. Loads only with marketing consent and only once the site has been approved to show ads. Whether those ads are personalized additionally depends on your own Google ad settings.
Everything else the site does works without cookies. The anonymous view counts behind the Popular and Trending lists carry no identifier, and the web server's request logs are deleted after 14 days.
How to opt out
- If you have not answered the banner yet, choose Essential only. Nothing from Google loads.
- If you already chose Accept all, open Cookie settings in the footer of any page and turn Analytics and Advertising off. Your choice is stored in your browser's localStorage, not in a cookie, so clearing site data resets it as well.
- Or turn on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser. The site honors both signals and skips analytics regardless of the banner.
You can also opt out of personalized advertising across the web at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.
Your rights under the CCPA
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and share.
- Request deletion of personal information, with the exceptions the law allows.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
